How to reach the top of your iPhone screen with one hand
It’s becoming more and more popular to have one of the larger screen iPhone models, but what happens if you have small hands? Do you find yourself trying to balance the phone in one hand while stretching for something at the top of the screen? I certainly do. And by doing so I’ve come close to dropping my iPhone.
Lucky for us big phone users, there is a feature that can be enabled to help with reaching the top of our iPhone screens with one hand.
Steps to enable the Reachability Feature
But did you know, there is a setting built within your iPhone to help with this? We’ll show you how to enable it and use the feature.
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down to Accessability
- Select Touch
- Enable Reachability
How to use the Reachability Feature
Now with the reachability feature enabled, you can reach the top of your iPhone screen using one hand by doing the following:
iPhone with FaceID
Swipe down on the bottom edge of the screen (where you have the line that goes horizontally)
Lightly double tap the home button
You’ll notice after doing the above, the screen will move down making it easier to reach the top part of your phone.
