How to enable one-handed keyboard on your iPhone
If you are like me, you spend most of your time typing on your iPhone with one hand. Using the normal full size keyboard can sometimes be tiring to use with one hand for long periods of time, as you need to stretch to reach some letters.
Lucky for us Apple has come up with a solution to this problem by allowing the keyboard to be moved to the left or right of the screen making one handed typing easier.
Steps to enable the one handed keyboard
Enabling the iPhone one-handed keyboard is an easy thing to do.
When the phone is on portrait (doesn’t work when in landscape) and the keyboard is showing on screen, press and hold the emoji button and a menu will appear giving a few options. Here you can choose which side the keyboard will be shown. Need to change it? Simply hold the emoji button again and choose the option needed.
The only thing left for you to do now, is make sure the phone doesn’t fall out of your hand and hit you in the face when using it lying in bed one-handed.
